KL & FRIENDS SERVE

My name is Kaydon-Luke most people call me KL, and I live in Frederick MD.  I love soccer, video games, music, playing the piano, golf, and making others laugh because I like to see everyone happy.

I started  KL and Friends Serve with a Hurricane Relief drive because I recently made a friend at the Envision Leadership program who lives in Texas and I was worried about him.  I reached out to him to make sure he was okay and thankfully he was but it made me think about all those who were not as fortunate and lost everything.

I spoke to my parents to find out how I could help. Eventually I thought why not write letters to the kids to let them know others are thinking about them and also to start a donation drive to collect items that I as a kid would miss if I lost everything. I have reached out to my friends at school and my teachers, family members and even my church is involved and now I am reaching out to kids all over to join me in helping to bring a smile to a young person's face who has been affected by the hurricanes.
