Driving directions to Villa Des Pitons.

 

Leaving airport you will see a sign directly before you which says LEFT TO CASTRIES, RIGHT TO VIEUX FORT, take the right to Vieux Fort and continue all the way to the town.  At the round about, TAKE A RIGHT to the traffic light. Continue straight out of  Vieux Fort .

 

You continue straight all the way, DO NOT TAKE ANY SIDE ROAD.  If needed at anytime you are in doubt ask for directions.

 

It should take you about 20 min. to the village of Labourie at the top of the hill continue to the bypass (again remain on the main road )

 

For the next 15 min. you will continue until you get to the village of Choiseul. ON approach to the village there are three sets of speed bumps the first next to a church and school, the second next to a school craft center and playing field, the third, after you have passed the police station and proceeding uphill are next to another school. PLEASE ALWAYS BE CAREFUL,  DRIVE ALWAYS TO YOUR LEFT AND TAKE YOUR TIME.

 

YOU WILL CONTINUE UP HILL on a gentle slope to an area called Victoria, should you feel unsure again ask for directions to Soufriere.  AT Victoria you are now on the border of Soufriere town. Continue on the main road over two more speed bumps one at Etangs next to the health center and the school, as you proceed you will pass Fond Doux Plantation, Ladera Resort and La Chocolat factory, look out for the next hump in the road,.

 

You will begin your decent into Soufriere, for the next 10 mins bypassing the Sulphur Springs to the right, you may take an unusual odor it’s o.k it is only the volcano. A couple more turns will be Morne Coubaril Estate then the entrance to Jalouise resort to your left,  do not go in this direction. Continue straight ahead where you will see to your left the Pitons and the signed indication of the world heritage status, continue to the view point where there is a spectacular view of the town. If you do stop look to the hills and you would see us in the hill side overlooking the town.

 

As you get into the town at the first junction will be a church before you, and directly opposite the town square. Take a left and then a right to Bridge Street, continue over the bridge. As you continue on the main road, when you get to the Humming Bird junction, you take a right turn. Slowly come up hill / slop Villas Des Piton is the third entrance on your left. There is a sign, just at our entrance. If you reach as far as La HAut Plantation, you have gone to far.
